Clearance + Seconds

Good things for less

We believe that nothing useful should go to waste. This is why we offer selected clearance and seconds items at reduced prices. Some are making way for what's next; others have clearly described small imperfections. Either way, you’ll know exactly what you’re buying before it arrives.

Why we reduce products

Know what you're getting.

Clearance and seconds aren't all reduced for the same reason. Each product listing tells you what to expect, so you can decide whether the piece - and the savings - work for you.

Minor Imperfections

The product functions fine; trust us. But it may have minor dents or scratches, or it may be an ex-photography item.

End-of-Range

Everything evolves, so do our products. This is why sometimes a product gets reduced to clear the shelves for the next generation.

Limited Quantities

When only a few pieces are left, we sometimes like to move them faster than the rest. That's all.

Details still matter

The price changed. The materials haven't.

A lower price doesn't make material details less important. Explore the stainless steel, silicone and other materials used across the products in this collection, with specific information available for each piece.

Is stainless steel safe for food?

Yes. 18/8 food-grade stainless steel is widely used for food storage. It doesn't leach chemicals or leave a taste.

What safety testing is carried out?

Yes. EcoCocoon uses high-quality, food-grade stainless steel that is suitable for everyday foods, including acidic foods such as fruit, tomato-based dishes and yoghurt.

For best care, avoid leaving highly acidic or salty foods in the container for extended periods. After use, wash and dry thoroughly.

Is the silicone food-safe?

Yes. Our seals are made from food-grade silicone, and the Bento 2 and Bento 5 silicone have been tested to FDA and LFGB standards. Read more about what food-grade silicone is and what it means here.
