    What stainless steel is used?

    Our stainless steel products are made from durable 18/8 food-grade stainless steel. It is rust-free and one of the healthiest, safest forms of stainless steel.

    Is the silicone food-safe?

    Yes. Our seals are made from food-grade silicone, and the Bento 2 and Bento 5 silicone have been tested to FDA and LFGB standards. Read more about what food-grade silicone is and what it means here.

    What safety testing is carried out?

    Yes. EcoCocoon uses high-quality, food-grade stainless steel that is suitable for everyday foods, including acidic foods such as fruit, tomato-based dishes and yoghurt.

    For best care, avoid leaving highly acidic or salty foods in the container for extended periods. After use, wash and dry thoroughly.
