The EcoCocoon Bento 2 is a 775 ml, two-compartment stainless steel lunch box that gives mains (e.g., a sandwich or wrap, pasta, or curry) and a side of fruit, veggies, or snacks their own space, through the removable silicone seal that closes each compartment individually to help keep food separate. Pairs beautifully with your favourite EcoCocoon insulated lunch bag and insulated stainless steel drink bottle.

Made from durable 304 (18/8) stainless steel with food-grade silicone, the Bento 2 measures 23 × 15 × 5 cm and suits children at kindy, primary school, and early high school. It's perfect for meals on the go and weighs just 505g. Like all of our lunchboxes, the Bento 2 is dishwasher-safe (top-rack dishwashing recommended to help extend the life of the silicone seal) and fridge- and freezer-safe.

The Bento 2 keeps things straightforward, with two generous spaces that give larger foods room to fit naturally. Think sandwiches, wraps or rolls alongside fruit, vegetables or snacks.

Each compartment seals individually, keeping foods where you put them without needing extra containers. The open layout gives you flexibility for bigger appetites, simpler eaters or lunches that just don’t suit lots of smaller sections (like the Bento 5). Everything is easy to see, quickly arranged and ready for whatever is on the menu that day.

All of our Bentos are made from durable, lead-free 304 (18/8) stainless steel with a removable food-grade silicone seal tested to FDA and LFGB standards. This means the food you pack only ever touches stainless steel and silicone, two non-leaching materials, and never plastic.

Just as importantly, it is designed to fit into real life - meaning the lunchbox can go straight into the dishwasher, fridge or freezer, so cleaning up doesn't become another job on the list. Removing the silicone seal is easy; we recommend washing it on the top rack of the dishwasher to help keep it performing at its best. Make sure everything is completely dry before putting it back together.
